Hudson Design and Build is hiring a Level 2 Carpenter to work on high-end custom homes across the Killington region.
This role is for someone who can take scope from plans, execute cleanly, and move work forward with limited oversight. You will work alongside Lead Carpenters and Site Supervisors on timber frame homes, modern mountain homes, and detailed custom builds.
What This Role Is
- Full-time, year-round carpentry on high-end residential projects
- Work across framing, exterior packages, and interior finish
- Small team environment with high standards and clear expectations
- Structured projects using Buildertrend and defined systems
What You Will Do
- Execute high quality work in framing, insulation, windows and doors, siding, and interior finish
- Take assigned scopes from start to finish without constant direction
- Read plans, lay out work, and maintain tight tolerances
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with Lead Carpenters and Site Supervisors to keep jobs moving
- Communicate clearly and solve problems early

What You Bring
- 5 plus years of residential carpentry experience
- Strong ability to read plans and execute without supervision
- Experience across multiple phases of residential construction
- Consistent work history and solid references
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay and Benefits
